Started by IT Outlook in 2004, the Dumaguete area has enjoyed broadband internet access through the ITOWN network for more than 3 years. Quest Interact Services (QIS) is expanding its activities to include internet services with more than 300 computers along the Negros coastline now connected to the internet.

Dumaguete City can boast internet access availability not only in the densely populated areas traditionally serviced by the telecom players in this country.
