ITOWN

Our service concept is based on our own wireless network called ITOWN (the IT Outlook Wireless Network). Our backbone provider utilizes the vast existence of fibre optic cables surrounding our island and region, bringing us in rapid contact with the world wide web, Thus, the quality  and speed of the backbone service sets the standard for our service so to speak. We always try to cooperate with the best performing backbone suppliers available.

Our main access point in the centre of Dumaguete City is surrounded by antennas at 14 nodes which spread our services to each part of the island of our – and our clients’ – choice, without the need for costly cables and exchanges.

Our system is not prone to dips in quality during changing weather conditions like some other airborne systems (like satellite feed systems) appear to be. However, a wireless radio feed system is also prone to damage from time to time. Thunder storms, heavy  winds and power  surges are all possible causes of service interruption, which our experienced technical support team do their best to keep to a minimum.

ITOWN utilizes the latest technology proven to give as stable communication links between our masts and towers as possible, and we are continuously evaluating and testing new technology for future implementation.
